Anjali Tsui

Anjali Tsui is an independent reporter and editor. She currently serves as the project editor and coordinator for MISSING THEM at THE CITY, a collaborative journalism project to document stories of New Yorkers who died of COVID-19. She previously worked at ProPublica and Frontline PBS, reporting investigative stories for print, radio and television. In 2018, she co-produced “Separated: Children at the Border,” which was honored with a Peabody Award and served as a field producer for “The Gang Crackdown,” a documentary that was cited as part of FRONTLINE’s duPont Gold Baton, the award’s highest honor. Tsui began her career in Hong Kong as a producer for CNN International. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Miami Herald, The Salt Lake Tribune and The Philadelphia Daily News. She graduated with honors from Columbia Journalism School’s Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and holds a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania. She is an adjunct faculty member at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
