Gabe Barcia-Colombo

Gabe Barcia-Colombo is an artist, professor and curator. His work takes the form of video sculptures, immersive performances, large scale projections and vending machines that sell human DNA. His work has been featured at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, Volta, Scope, and Art Mrkt art fairs as well as Grand Central Terminal, New York Public Library and Fulton Center in lower Manhattan. Gabe is a New York Foundation for the Arts grant awardee, Senior TED Fellow and professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He was an Augmented Reality artist in residence at Adobe and founded Bunker.nyc, the first pop up digital art gallery to open in the Sotheby’s Auction House.
