Juan is a mapping and data visualization expert working at the intersection of design, GIS, journalism, architecture, urbanism, and the humanities. He teaches graduate level workshops and seminars and his work has been featured in the New York Times, Metropolis Magazine, the NACIS Atlas of Design, The Atlantic Cities, ArchDaily, and BRIC Arts and Media House. Juan holds a BA in Philosophy, an MS in Urban Planning and a Masters in Architecture.
