Amy joined the Brown Institute in July of 2018. Amy has several years’ experience working in higher educational organizations. As a career counselor at Teachers College she oversaw large scale career fairs, developed workshops, and coordinated career panels. She performed resume reviews, mock interviews, and produced post graduate statistical reports for University leadership.
Amy is also a passionate advocate for children with disabilities; specifically those who identify as twice exceptional or 2e (academically gifted and developmentally disabled). She works in conjunction with the New York City Department of Education to explore educational programs and supports for this underrepresented population.
